Neil Chordia is an independent film producer and the founder of ChorMedia. He has over 21 years experience in the film industry, covering development, production, sales, finance and distribution.

As well as running ChorMedia, he also acts as an acquisitions, development and financing consultant and has consulted for companies such as Ingenious Media Group and Carnaby International.

In 2008 he co-founded the film production company Eclipse Films, which was later incorporated into the Eclipse Global Entertainment group of which he was also a founding partner and director. While at Eclipse, Chordia developed a slate of  feature films and produced Michael Caton-Jones’s URBAN HYMN, starring Black Panther breakout Letitia Wright. The film premiered at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival and won the Golden Gryphon at the 2016 Giffoni Film Festival. It has sold to multiple territories around the world, including the UK (Bulldog Distribution) and the USA (Level 33) and struck a Netflix deal for SVOD. Chordia was long listed by BIFA in 2016 as a Breakthrough Producer and star Letitia Wright was nominated for Most Promising Newcomer.

Here he was involved in all the company’s UK marketing campaigns including films such as GLADIATOR, M:I-2, BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY, THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH, BILLY ELLIOT and AMERICAN BEAUTY.
